Everett students prepare a petri dish to learn about germs in their environment, part of a nutrition education lesson.

The Everett Area School District after school site is located at Everett Elementary school. Breezewood students join Everett Elementary students - all are bused home at 6 p.m. after enjoying an afternoon packed with learning, fun and recreation.

Not only do students get help with homework, the staff provides help in academics and provides academic enrichment activities that focus on STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. In addition, most days students enjoy physical activities that are designed to be fun, promote fitness and teach!

Every day students are provided with a healthy after school meal - and they learn about nutrition weekly through lessons provided by 4-H Cooperative Extension.

A major component of the program is learning about technology - students have access to computer labs and program iPads for research, reading, writing, video production and many other activities.
